5 Easy Christmas Gifts for Mac Owners

5 Easy Christmas Gifts for Mac Owners

November 9, 2009 in Featured, Tips by David John

Last week we looked at five ultimate gifts for the Mac lover who has everything. Most of the items would knock a pretty big hole in most family Christmas budgets so this week we are looking at five sub £100 gives for the Mac Creative.

There are plenty of items we have missed but these are a few of the great items I for one would love to receive on Christmas morning.

Christmas

1. Elgato EyeTV DTT Deluxe

This device sits comfortably under the £100 gift threshold coming in at £80. The EyeTV DTT Deluxe is the smallest ever DTT television card and works on both Mac and PC. I would recommend ordering this gift early as this is definitely going on everyone’s list this year. (Review).

2. Mophie Juice Pack Air

We reviewed this essential piece of iPhone hardware last summer and have been using one daily ever since. The Mophie juice pack air solves the biggest problem with the iPhone and that is travelling with your phone. This simple power source doubles up as a protective case. (Review).

3. Eye-Fi

This is the must have photo gadget of 2010. We are all used to storing our photos on SD for sharing online when we get back to our computer. Well why wait, with the Eye-Fi you can upload your photos automatically to your favourite photo sharing site anywhere you have wifi connectivity. (check out our full review).

4. Joby Gorillapod

No camera should be Jobyless. These low cost ultra strong portable tripods allow you to mount your camera from basically anything. I admit I was nervous at hanging my DSLR from a tree but as you can see in this review the Joby Gorillapod had no trouble keeping my camera safe. (Review)

5. Call of Duty 4

Probably one of my favourite games of all time Call of Duty brings 3D action gaming to the Mac. Not only is CoD4 one of the best single player games of 2009 you can also pit your skill against fellow Mac and PC gamers through online multiplayer gaming. (Full Review).

The new Paul Smith iPhone and Macbook cases were nearly on the list as was the Canon nifty 50 lens. I am sure there are plenty of other suggestions so why not post your ultimate Christmas present (suggestion) below.
