Purchased yesterday and think it's the bees knees. Now I can watch live and recorded TV in any room in the house and also out in the garden. Being able to schedule recordings is a brilliant feature for me too, I'm always forgetting to record something I want to see until I'm away from my iMac, so this feature alone makes it a top notch app.

PRS I am not sure what the issue is with BTHomehubs. Yesterday it wasn't working for me (nor was back to my Mac) yet today both the EyeTV service (and back to my mac) are working perfectly.

Hi - I was a disappointed BT Homehub user. Something must have changed - it now works perfectly. Awesome!

Hi,
did you try connecting the iPhone to a TV with the AV cable, to see if it's possible to display the streaming from this new EyeTV app?

I am very excited for this. Great way to schedule recordings when you know you won't be home.

Currently I have a set top box from comcast connected through the av connections. Usually for a recording I go to the comcast menu to setup vcr recording and then schedule a recording through eyetv's guide. now if only comcast would let you do that through their app . . .
And the only way to change channels is to use the comcast remote. Ahhh. oh and lighthouse is a great app for setting up nat forwarding profiles on the fly.

I just retried Back to my Mac (I hadn't tried in a few months) and you are right it is working perfectly... not sure if it was my recent Snow Leopard upgrade or BT but brilliant news all round. Thanks John.

Peter I can confirm it works on both the white and black BTHomehubs. I also tried turning on Back to My Mac and it worked too. Have you tried it recently as I know BT are continually upgrading the firmwares remotely ?

Ah, this looks great but Back to my Mac doesn't work through my BT Homehub so I assume this won't work either :(
