Either there are more artifacts and detail loss or the file size are much larger. The Turbo.264 HD also doesn't always make files which are compatible with the iPhone 3G and 3Gs. With the iPhone 4, this may be moot since the iPhone 4 is compatible with HD 720 resolution video.
