Times Ed Interview on Flip Video

Times Ed Interview on Flip Video

May 26, 2010 in General by Angelina Roberts

Last year I wrote a piece on the use of the Flip Video in Education. Since then the number of Flip Videos in school has quadrupled with the biggest disappointment coming when people find they are all booked out. Last month I was interviewed by the Times Educational Supplement on how to get the best out of shrinking school budgets with a focus the low cost Flip Video devices.

You can now pick up a Flip Ultra camera for less than £100 but cost is only benefit of the Flip cameras, as I can cite many occasions when buying ‘cheap’ cost more in the long term. The benefits come from both ease of use and no additional software requirements. The brilliant Flipshare application does everything a teacher would need to quickly turn around a teaching resource. You can literally record, import and share.

Anyway the full Times Ed article can be read here. If you want to read the “Ten Educational Uses for Flip video” then it can be found in the archive. There is also a guide on how to use Flipshare here.
