This is more of an exploration post for the TotalApps community on how to secure files for transport via email. In a technological era of moving our valuable data to ‘cloud computing’ I am going to outline just two ways I secure confidential email for the cloud and for emailing.

For a number of years I used one of the easiest applications for encrypting on the Mac called Bitclamp. Bitclamp offered 448bit blowfish encryption and even offered the ability for the encrypted files to mimic other files this your secure data could be hidden as Word or Excel files.
