hi guys, i have a problem on which im stuck for 4 days now.
i bought a new pc ( 2.4GHZ i3 processor, 4GB ram, HD+ DOLBY advanced audio) and installed GR4 on it. first start it worked ( guitar plugged into mic/line in (shared)). i could hear the guitar like from a real amp but there were some weired sounds within the sound so i closed the programm. the next time i started it i got an error saying GR4 has encountered a major problem and has been terminated. Now, if i start it i either get the same error message (mostly if u run it as administrator) or it just starts but i get bo input when i hit the snares of my guitar, nor do i hear any noise from the amps. though, i can hear the metronome and the tune fork so i guess the output options are correct. any ideas what im doing wrong? any help and/or advice will be tried and apreciated.

hi I just installed gr4 and wanted to play and it works but it is buzzing it’s really annoying and I tried everything please please help me

please help..anyone knows how to configure gr4 im using direct plug in to sound card line in..i install asio 4 all already but the sound stay clean normal sound..thanks

Ok got it going.
Most things seem to work, with zero latency, except the distortion modules where I get the clean tone of the guitar sounding a lot louder than the distortion effect on the signal.

Hi,

Ive been using the software for about a year now and it’s really great. Right now I’m seriously thinking about taking it with me on stage. Has anyone done that yet? An opinion o reliability/stability in a stage environment would be much appreciated:)

loaded the GR4 demo on PC with Realtech internal sound card.

loaded ASIO4ALL and selected ASIO in GR’s Audio settings.

Guitar into Zoom 9.2tt pedal and headphone output from there into LINE IN of PC.

PC speakers connect to hi fi.

I can hear the guitar no problem, but GR4 does not do anything with the guitar signal.

I’ve tried loading different amps/effects, but still just get the same tone when I play the guitar.

Is there a magic button that I’m missing?

Hi, I am really new to this. I have THD ,MESA Stiletto,MI Audio Revelation,H&K Puretone ,Lab Systems Cage 30 ,Rivera Suprema,Ulbrick,Fender and Genz Benz amps.From Kinman Blueprints Strats to Hancock Jazz guitars.More effects than either.How is my back going to survive.Answer : Get guitar Rig 4 !

Question: What is the best interface for GR4 regardless of price for the studio and what is the best VALUE interface for the Laptop.Thanks a lot!

Hi, sorry for being late, but is there a way to know what the true names of the encrypted presets because I do not know most of them, some like ‘Black Angus Lead’ and ‘Black Malcom Rhythm’ are obviously AC/DC, Crazy Randy is Randy Rhodes I persume, what about Slash? . Help appriciated. Chris
